Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County is seeking to fill the position of Co-op Technical Assistance Project Associate. The Project Associate will report to the Housing Preservation Senior Program Manager. The Project Associate will provide direct Technical Assistance to a portfolio of buildings in HPD’s Tenant Interim Lease (TIL) and Affordable Neighborhood Cooperative Program (ANCP) programs. The Co-op Technical Assistance Project Associate position sits in the Housing Services department at the organization. Currently, this position is funded through June 2023, after which time we will assess operational needs and organizational resources.
All newly hired employees of Habitat NYC and Westchester must have their final dose of an FDA-authorized or WHO-listed COVID-19 vaccine, and provide proof of such in order to begin employment, unless a reasonable accommodation on the following limited bases is granted. This position is a hybrid in-person and work-from-home model in order to better build cross-divisional strengths with team members in the organization and with partner organizations, as well as tenants and tenant groups.
Safety is our number one priority, and we have retrofitted our office with COVID-19 safety measures. We will supply all Habitat staff with masks and other safety equipment upon our return.

Regular hours will be weekdays Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm EST, with an hour allotted for lunch each day. Flexibility is required as some site visits to project locations throughout the 5 boroughs will be necessary. Depending on project needs, evenings and weekends may be required.
