This Privacy Policy describes the information practices of Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County (“Habitat NYC and Westchester”, “We”, “Our”, or “Us”) through our digital properties (“Properties”), which include websites of Habitat NYC and Westchester (www.habitatnycwc.org) and micro-sites associated with Habitat NYC and Westchester events and mobile applications that link directly to this policy.

Habitat NYC and Westchester may use the information that we have collected for purposes including, but not limited to:

  • Fulfilling donations or other requests made by visitors;

  • Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. We use remarketing services to advertise to you after you accessed or visited our service. Please note that Habitat NYC and Westchester members who opt-out of promotional Habitat NYC and Westchester communications will continue to receive non-promotional Habitat communications via email (such as newsletters). By “Opting In” to or using a “Text Message Service” (as defined below) from Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County, you accept these Terms & Conditions.

This agreement is between you and Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County or one of its affiliates. HABITAT NYC AND WESTCHESTER TEXT MESSAGE SERVICE PRIVACY POLICY

This includes, but isn’t limited to, sharing information with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of mobile messages. Costs Of Text Messages

We do not charge you for the messages you send and receive via this text message service. But message and data rates may apply, so depending on your plan with your wireless or other applicable provider, you may be charged by your carrier or other applicable provider.

Frequency Of Text Messages

This Text Messaging Service is for conversational person-to-person communication between you and our employees. We may send you an initial message providing details about the service. After that, the number of text messages you receive will vary depending on how you use our services and whether you take steps to generate more text messages from us (such as by sending a HELP request).

Opting Out Of Text Messages

If you no longer want to receive text messages, you may reply to any text message with STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. As a person-to-person communication service, opt-out requests are specific to each conversation between you and one of our employees and their associated phone number. After unsubscribing, we may send you confirmation of your opt-out via text message.
