What are in-kind donations?
When organizations and individuals donate valuable goods or services, those donations are considered gifts-in-kind. Habitat NYC and Westchester accepts large quantities of in-kind gifts like building materials, furniture, appliances and more. Our corporate partnerships help make our work possible.

How can I donate furniture?
In some cases, retailers with overstock items donate those goods. Donations like these are usually sold in our Habitat ReStore, with the proceeds benefiting Habitat NYC and Westchester. Learn more about donating to the ReStore here.
