The Global Village Volunteer Program is BACK!!!
We are seeking passionate and curious NYC and Westchester volunteers to join us in our mission to transform lives both locally and abroad.
Habitat NYC and Westchester is proud to be sending our first Global Village build team to Habitat Cambodia. The need in this country continues to be great with nearly 5.3 million people living in multi- dimensional poverty – 1 out of 3 Cambodians.

Come prepared for a full week of physical labor and a willingness to learn and interact with community members whose community you’re helping to improve. This trip is a unique opportunity to experience life inside the culture all alongside a team of open-minded volunteers. No experience is required!
This trip will provide you the opportunity to immerse yourself in local Cambodian culture by working directly with families to build homes – but also taking time to get to know the people, learn about Cambodian history, and enjoy local cuisine… all in one week!
Your participation in one of these trips helps support Habitat’s ongoing homebuilding efforts. While your personal build experience may last for a week, your financial, emotional and physical contributions can be life-changing for both those in the communities where you work and in your own life for years to come.
Program Costs: $2,000 USD
During the days of this itinerary, your Global Village build includes a donation to the country program and Habitat for Humanity International; meals; accommodations; transportation while in country; travel accident and sickness insurance; trip cancellation insurance for international destinations; and team coordination from Habitat for Humanity International and the country program.
This trip includes Single-occupancy rooms at no additional cost.
Your Global Village build does not include airfare, visa or exit fees when applicable, or R&R activities. Many volunteers traveling this far opt to arrive earlier or stay later than the days of this itinerary and are responsible for their own meals, transportation, hotel arrangements, insurance coverage and other expenses during those days.
