February 5, 2020 — Karen Haycox, the CEO of Habitat for Humanity NYC was featured on The Morning Glory Project Podcast discussing her career path and how it lead her to becoming the CEO of Habitat NYC.
January 29, 2020 —In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, 400 volunteers including members of the Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity participated in MLK Day of service at the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Center in Harlem. All our volunteers came to lend a helping hand in priming walls, painting offices, restoring a client waiting area and assembling care packages for families in local shelters.
