MARCH 20, 2013 - Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan teamed up with Habitat for Humanity New York City (Habitat NYC) Friday, March 15, to participate in a day of service as part of her 2013 Homecoming Celebration. She was joined by fellow pageant contestants Skyler Kamaka (Miss Hawaii), Mariah Cary (Miss Iowa), Alicia Clifton (Miss Oklahoma), Ali Rogers (Miss South Carolina), Rosemary Willis (Miss Virginia), Shannon Oliver (Miss New York), and Alexis Madden (Miss Wyoming), as well as Rachel Wyatt (Miss America Outstanding Teen 2013).

MARCH 8, 2013 - Habitat for Humanity is moving 105 families into their first homes throughout central Brooklyn. Under the terms of a $20 million federal grant to help improve communities with high foreclosure rates, the families need to be in contract on their homes by the end of the year.
