In partnership with Camber Property Group and Almat Urban, we are developing Claremont House, a 71-unit affordable homeownership project at 1640 Anthony Avenue in the Bronx.
Claremont House will be the largest Habitat for Humanity building in the world upon completion. The development will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom cooperative apartments for families earning up to 90% AMI.
Amenities will include a rear yard, green roof, bike storage, and shared community spaces. The all-electric building is designed to meet Enterprise Green Communities and ENERGY STAR standards.
The land will be held by a community land trust, supporting long-term affordability and resident-led governance.
Expected to break ground in 2027.
