Anthony Montalto is a Senior Vice President at JB&B, where he has spent nearly 25 years leading the design and management of complex commercial, healthcare, and life sciences projects. His work has helped advance some of the region’s most notable developments, including the Belfer Research Building at Weill Cornell Medicine, Cure at 345 Park Avenue South, the Hudson Research Center, West End Labs, Moynihan Train Hall, and One Madison Avenue. Anthony brings together multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, high-performing environments tailored to each project’s unique needs.
Beyond his professional work, Anthony has been a dedicated champion of affordable housing and community development. He has supported Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County for more than a decade and has served as Board Chair since 2021. In recognition of his industry leadership and community impact, he received Habitat NYC and Westchester’s Jimmy & Rosalynn Work Project Award and was named to City & State’s 2025 Responsible 100. He is also an active leader in the life sciences and engineering sectors, having served as co-chair of the NYC Builds Bio+ Regulatory Committee and as past president of the ASHRAE New York Chapter.

Through his leadership, Genesis has expanded access to quality housing while transforming underutilized properties into vibrant, sustainable communities. Karim is recognized for his leadership in affordable housing development, community revitalization, and complex public-private real estate transactions. He is also active in civic and nonprofit initiatives advancing economic opportunity and community investment. He holds degrees from Amherst College, Harvard Business School, and Harvard Divinity School.

Ahmed Tigani is the 27th Commissioner of the New York City Department of Buildings, where he leads efforts to advance building safety, operational excellence, and innovation across New York City. Previously, he served as Acting Commissioner and First Deputy Commissioner of the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, helping drive affordable housing production, preservation, and neighborhood investment initiatives citywide. His career has also included leadership roles at the Department of Buildings, the Mayor’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, the Manhattan Borough President’s Office, and the New York City Council. Through his work in housing, land use, and neighborhood development, Ahmed has helped shape policies and programs that expand opportunity and strengthen communities across New York City.

Betsy Wolfe is a Tony Award-nominated actress best known for her acclaimed performances on Broadway, including her current role as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. Prior to this, she starred as Madeline Ashton in Death Becomes Her and earned a 2023 Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance as Anne Hathaway in & Juliet. Her Broadway credits also include Waitress, Falsettos, Joy, Bullets Over Broadway, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
Wolfe has performed with more than 65 symphony, pops, and philharmonic orchestras throughout the United States and internationally, including the New York Philharmonic and BBC Symphony Orchestra, and has appeared at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
In 2018, she founded Broadway Evolved, a groundbreaking musical theater training program for students that has been recognized for eight consecutive years as one of the best summer programs along with top universities.
