In 2012, Broadway stars, writers and producers like Emily Bergl, Patrick Stewart, Jordan and Daryl Roth, Anna Chlumsky, Carrie Preston, Laura Linney and Celia and Andrew Keenan-Bolger joined forces with Habitat NYC for Broadway Builds, and worked to revitalize eight homes in a multi-family development in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
Now, Broadway Builds is ready for its revival! Broadway Builds returns on Monday, October 1st, 2018. Volunteers will help us serve more than 700 seniors by giving the Baruch B.E.S.T. Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC) Senior Center a fresh coat of paint through our A Brush with Kindness program.
Set the stage for a beautiful new senior center, and join Habitat NYC for Broadway Builds!
Habitat NYC’s A Brush with Kindness (BWK) works in public spaces across the five boroughs, painting, planting and performing other light work. BWK serves thousands of New Yorkers each year and has revitalized 200 neighborhood spaces.
