Housing Preservation Program
Thousands of New Yorkers, the majority of whom are BIPOC, are at risk of losing their affordable homes. Part of our mission as a non-profit housing developer and housing justice organization is working to ensure the residents of these homes can remain and thrive in New York for generations. Our Housing Preservation Program provides long-term, multi-generational housing solutions.
The Housing Preservation Program is a multi-faceted program that provides services like:
- Fairly priced construction or pro bono and renovation services
- Fairly priced painting services
- Roof repairs in preparation for solar panel installation
- Training for co-op boards
- Ethical financial lending
