Russia’s unjustified and horrifying invasion of Ukraine has caused millions of Ukrainians to flee their homes, fearing for their lives and the lives of their loved ones. The need for emergency and long-term shelter as a result of this war is immense, and needs immediate attention.
Habitat NYC and Westchester is collecting funds to support Ukrainian refugees and the people of Eastern Europe as they face Europe’s largest refugee crisis of the 21st century. We are appealing to you, our New York City friends and supporters, to join us. Every cent raised will be designated to the Habitat for Humanity International’s Disaster Response Fund to help alleviate the short- and long-term shelter burden of refugees fleeing Ukraine. Donations will be utilized by Habitat International and our sibling affiliates in Poland, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia.
Please consider a contribution.
It’s Our 40th Anniversary!
